Setting up SSO
Connect Google, Microsoft, or Okta so your team signs in with the account they already have.
SSO (Single Sign-On) lets your packmates sign in to BetterUs using their existing company identity — no separate password to create or remember.
Supported providers
Google Workspace, Microsoft / Azure AD, Okta, and generic SAML 2.0 for any provider not listed above.
Setting up Google SSO
- 1Go to /admin/integrations/sso and choose "Google Workspace."
- 2Enter your domain (e.g., yourcompany.com).
- 3Follow the 3-step verification flow — you'll need to log in to your Google Admin console once.
- 4Done. All new users signing up with your domain are automatically authenticated.
Setting up Microsoft / Azure AD
- 1In Azure Portal, create a new App Registration for BetterUs.
- 2Copy the Client ID and Tenant ID.
- 3In BetterUs, choose "Microsoft" and paste both values.
- 4Set the redirect URI as shown on the BetterUs page and test with a test account.
SCIM provisioning
For automated user provisioning (auto-creating and deactivating accounts when HR records change), set up SCIM at /admin/integrations/scim. Available for Okta and Azure AD.
Top tips
Make the most of this feature
- 1
Test SSO with your own account before rolling out to the team — a misconfigured redirect URL locks everyone out.
- 2
Enable SCIM at the same time as SSO if your HR system supports it — it makes offboarding seamless.
- 3
Keep one admin with email/password login as a fallback while you test SSO.
