Setting up SSO

Connect Google or Microsoft so your team signs in with the account they already have. SAML and SCIM are on the roadmap.

SSO (Single Sign-On) lets your packmates sign in to BetterUs using their existing company identity, no separate password to create or remember.

Supported providers

Google Workspace and Microsoft / Azure AD are available today. Generic SAML 2.0 SSO (for providers like Okta and any not listed above) is on our roadmap, not yet available.

Setting up Google SSO

  1. 1Go to /admin/integrations/sso and choose "Google Workspace."
  2. 2Enter your domain (e.g., yourcompany.com).
  3. 3Follow the 3-step verification flow, you'll need to log in to your Google Admin console once.
  4. 4Done. All new users signing up with your domain are automatically authenticated.

Setting up Microsoft / Azure AD

  1. 1In Azure Portal, create a new App Registration for BetterUs.
  2. 2Copy the Client ID and Tenant ID.
  3. 3In BetterUs, choose "Microsoft" and paste both values.
  4. 4Set the redirect URI as shown on the BetterUs page and test with a test account.

SCIM provisioning

Automated user provisioning (auto-creating and deactivating accounts when HR records change) via SCIM is on our roadmap, it's not yet available. For now, packmates are added with the join code and removed from /admin/team.

Top tips

Make the most of this feature

    Test SSO with your own account before rolling out to the team, a misconfigured redirect URL locks everyone out.

    SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are on the roadmap, if you need them, let us know so we can factor your setup in.

  3. 3

    Keep one admin with email/password login as a fallback while you test SSO.
