Remote Connector games
Live team trust-building games you can run in a meeting — how to launch, facilitate, and debrief.
Remote Connectors are live multiplayer trust-building games that run in real-time inside BetterUs. Designed to be run during a meeting or virtual session — everyone plays together, live.
Finding the connector library
Go to /admin/connectors to browse available games. Each game shows the pillar it builds, the number of players (most are 4–20 people), the duration (10–30 minutes), and facilitation notes.
Launching a game
- 1Browse the library and choose a game.
- 2Tap "Launch" — this generates a live session code.
- 3Share the session code with your team (Slack, Teams, or meeting chat).
- 4Players join at /join/[code] on their devices.
- 5You run the facilitation from the host view.
Debriefing
The most important part of any connector game is the 5–10 minute debrief after. The game creates the experience; the debrief is where the insight lands. The platform provides debrief prompts for each game.
When to use them
Team kickoffs and onboarding, quarterly off-sites (virtual or in-person), after a significant change or challenge, when a specific Trust Lab pillar needs a direct intervention.
Top tips
Make the most of this feature
- 1
Do a 60-second audio reset before launching — it settles the energy and signals this is a different kind of time.
- 2
Play with cameras on if you're remote — the games work better with faces visible.
- 3
Debrief with 'what surprised you?' not 'what did you learn?' — it gets more honest answers.
