Setting up an onboarding programme
Automated sequence that walks new packmates through the platform in their first 30 days.
The onboarding programme builder lets you create a scheduled sequence of prompts, challenges, and check-ins that guide new packmates through the platform automatically.
Building a programme
- 1Go to /admin/onboarding-programme.
- 2Tap "New programme."
- 3Add steps — each step has a trigger (e.g., "Day 1", "Day 7", "Day 14") and an action (a notification prompt, a specific challenge unlock, a pulse for the member).
- 4Set the programme as the default for new joiners or assign it manually.
What a great onboarding programme includes
- Day 1 → Welcome message + first check-in prompt + activation checklist
- Day 3 → "Have you met your pack?" prompt → link to pack leaderboard
- Day 7 → First challenge suggestion + streak acknowledgement
- Day 14 → Wolf Archetype quiz prompt (if not taken)
- Day 30 → First BetterUs 12 survey unlock + 30-day celebration
Why it matters
Left to discover the platform themselves, most new joiners explore 2–3 features and stop. A structured onboarding programme roughly doubles 30-day feature adoption.
Top tips
Make the most of this feature
- 1
Send a personal welcome message from you (not just the system) on Day 1 — it sets the tone.
- 2
Keep each step's action under 5 minutes — new joiners are already overwhelmed.
- 3
Review programme completion rates monthly and iterate on the lowest-performing steps.
