Your first week on BetterUs

Five things to do in week one that set up everything that comes after.

BetterUs is built on small daily habits. The first week is about locking in those habits before life gets in the way.

The five moves that matter most

  1. 1Complete your first check-in. Takes 90 seconds. Head to the Today tab and tap the five pillars. This is the single most important habit on the platform.
  2. 2Set up your profile. Add a photo, choose your Wolf Archetype (leadership style), and fill in your style badge so your packmates know who they're working with.
  3. 3Send one recognition. Find a packmate who did something worth naming this week and send them a two-sentence recognition. Name the trait, name the impact.
  4. 4Join one challenge. Check the Challenges section and join at least one. Even if you don't complete it, you'll see how the spark system works.
  5. 5Visit your pack. Open the Pack tab, see who's on the leaderboard, who's online, and what mood the team is in today.

What happens after week one

By the end of week one you'll have a streak, your first sparks, and the platform will start surfacing personal insights. The longer you keep the daily check-in going, the richer your Mood Journey and Trust Lab data becomes.

    Do your check-in at the same time every day — first coffee, lunch, or first thing after you open your laptop.

    Don't overthink the check-in sliders. First instinct is the honest answer.
