Setting Wolf Mode
One pillar. One week. The pack rallies behind it. Match-pillar challenges earn double sparks.
Wolf Mode is the rallying cry of the week. As an admin or pack lead, you pick one of the five pillars and the whole pack rallies around it for seven days.
What changes when Wolf Mode is on
- Match-pillar challenges earn double sparks for the week
- The pillar prompt appears on every packmate's home screen
- The recognition wall biases toward that pillar's colour
- If Slack is connected, the channel gets the announcement automatically
Setting Wolf Mode
- 1Go to /admin and tap "Set Wolf Mode" (or /admin/wolf-mode).
- 2Choose the pillar.
- 3Optionally add a 1-sentence message to the pack.
- 4Hit confirm. The pack gets notified immediately.
When to use which pillar
- Onboarding a new cohort → Den (belonging) week
- After a big launch → Pack (trust + recovery) week
- Before a planning cycle → Move As One (alignment) week
- When recognitions are quiet → Howl (voice) week
- Team feeling stuck or stale → Hunt (mastery) week
Top tips
Make the most of this feature
- 1
Let the Trust Lab radar guide your Wolf Mode choice — set it on the lowest-scoring pillar.
- 2
Add a brief message when you set Wolf Mode — a personal note lands better than just a system notification.
- 3
Don't set the same pillar two weeks in a row unless the data strongly warrants it.
