Board report
A one-page executive summary of culture health, built for non-technical audiences.
The Board Report is a condensed, executive-friendly version of the State of Pack data. Where the State of Pack is comprehensive, the Board Report is designed for a 3-minute read by someone who isn't looking at BetterUs data every week.
Generating a board report
From /admin/insights, tap "Board Report." Choose your time period and hit generate. One-page PDF.
What it includes
Culture score with a plain-English interpretation ("Your team is in the Healthy band and trending up"), three key metrics (check-in participation, recognition volume, eNPS), one risk callout and one strength callout, and a one-sentence summary of recommended action.
What it doesn't include
Granular pillar data, individual member information, or any charts that require explanation. It's designed to be comprehensible without a briefing.
Customising it
You can add a short paragraph of context at the top before exporting — useful for explaining an anomaly or giving the data a narrative frame that the AI doesn't have.
Top tips
Make the most of this feature
- 1
Send the board report a week before the meeting so people can read it cold — don't read it out loud.
- 2
Add context to any number that looks surprising — the AI can't know what was happening in the business.
- 3
A Board Report is most powerful when you've been generating them for 6+ months — the trend data becomes the story.
