How do recognitions work?

Recognitions are the smallest possible nudge in the product. Two sentences. One packmate. One specific moment.

Sending a good one

• Name the trait ("the way you held the room")
• Name the impact ("kept us shipping when it would've been easy to stall")
• Tag the pillar so it counts toward Wolf Mode if active

Why pack leads send first

Workspaces where the lead sends the first recognition of the week see 4× more recognitions from the rest of the pack that week. Lead with the gesture; the pack follows.

Where they show up

• The recognition wall at /dashboard/recognition
• The recipient's profile (visible to them)
• The weekly leader digest (Mondays at 9am)
• Slack, if connected and the recognitions toggle is on

What they're not

• A performance-review substitute
• A way to nudge people who aren't doing enough (use 1:1s for that)
• Anonymous (the sender's name is always visible)
