How do pulse surveys work?
One ten-second question. The pack tells you the truth before lunch.
Pulse surveys are one-question check-ins that anyone with admin or manager rights can run. They're meant to be fired off in seconds, not designed in a meeting.
Anatomy of a pulse
- One question, max 140 characters
- A scale (1–5, 1–10, or yes/no)
- An audience (everyone, managers, leaders only)
When to use one
- Energy is dipping — "How energised do you feel about this week?"
- A change just shipped — "Are priorities clear for you right now?"
- You suspect heroics are masking burnout — "How heavy does your workload feel?"
How they show up to the pack
- A subtle prompt on the dashboard for ~24h
- An optional Slack post if integration is on and pulses are enabled
- Replies are aggregated — the admin sees the distribution, not who said what
Pulses vs surveys
A pulse is meant to be disposable. Run one, read the answer, act, move on. If you find yourself wanting to dissect cross-tabs and demographics, you've outgrown the format — use a proper survey tool for that.

What is Wolf Mode?
One pillar. One week. The pack rallies behind it. Match-pillar challenges earn double sparks.
How do recognitions work?
Two sentences, one packmate, one specific moment. The leader who sends first sees 4× more from the team.
How do I invite my pack?
Share the 6-digit join code from your admin home page. No email blast required.
Still stuck?
We'd rather hear from you than have you guess. Real human, one working day.
